Just spent three nights here over the 2017 Memorial Day weekend. I was skeptical at first because I didn't want to end up in a "Party Campsite". My girlfriend and I were pleased with the campsite. Well maintained, new bathrooms and showers, new fire bowls in all the camp sites. Very quiet campground once the curfew came at 10 PM. If you are looking for a party camp ground go someplace else, if you are looking for a family oriented site that is walking distance to Ausable Chasm, then this is your place. Staff was friendly and always answered any questions. The only negative thing I can say is that I would suggest you either bring your own wood, or get it someplace other than the site because $9 for 5 pieces of wet wood that would not burn was a little upsetting, but overall a great experience. Will definitely be going back to this one.

I had an amazing time here...clean campgrounds, pool was open late, helpful staff, and lots of things to do...rafting, tubing, scenic trails, and breathtaking views in our camping package. I would love to return.

The not so good: The sites were really crammed together, we were fortunate to be there when it was not crowded. There were ants everywhere, really bad, I don't know how much they can do about this, it's just an observation. The roads were old and rutted and hard to drive on. There were some flickering lights in the park that were in serious need of replacement. It seemed that anyone could just drive onto the property and stay without any staff noticing. We had a reservation, but we got there after hours (after 4pm) and nobody checked on us or bothered to notice. The campground didn't seem to be well connected to the Ausable Chasm park for tickets and information.

Ok well, some good, some not so good. Let's start with the good: There were some excellent mountain biking trails around the campsite, very well marked and maintained, with a great map. The disc golf was not terrible but not well maintained and not very challenging, it was nice to have it there. The new bath house near the back of the camp was pretty good, well lit and clean. The staff was ok, not terribly helpful or unhelpful. The office closed very early in the day and had an extremely limited store. The camp is very close to Ausable chasm and the Underground Railroad Museum

Poorly marked sites and very loud late into the night. Quiet hour wasn't til 11 on the weekend, but was not enforced. If you're a young partier who can drink until 3 am then go spelunking at 9 sure this is the place for you, everyone else maybe not so much.

Very family friendly. Free HOT showers. RV, cabins, and tent sites available. Discounts to nearby (within walking distance) Ausable Chasm. Sites with water and electric available. Very popular, reserve ahead of time.
